Where are you located?
We are located at 410 South State Street in the upper level of our building in the historic downtown area. My studio is in Belvidere, East of Rockford Illinois and South of Chicago. We are driving distance from Milwaukee, Madison and Lake Geneva and many Southern Wisconsin cities. I serve the Northern Illinois area and Southern Wisconsin but also will travel. Sessions are available for in studio or on location. I travel within the Rockford and surrounding area to offer sessions outdoors in urban areas and nature inspired. If you have a spot picked, great! If not I have many options to choose from for your session.
What is your turnaround for products?
From the time of your session to editing your images we ask you give 2 weeks turnaround. This can be longer during busy seasons such as fall and Christmas. After your images are editing we will go through them together in your ordering appointment so you can find the products that work best for you.
What payment options do you accept?
Krystal Shuga Photography accepts Cash, Credit Cards, Affirm, Paypal Credit. We offer payment plans through Affirm and Paypal upon approval.
How should I prepare for my session?
Part of my goal with your session is to help make sure you feel prepared and ready for your session. With 15 years experience I know that when getting ready for a photo session we can forget things or feel a little overwhelmed. From the time of booking your session to days before you will receive prep emails and reminders to help make your session go as smooth as possible. Also an outfit guide and inspiration will be emailed to you if you need help with coordinating. I am here to help!
What is your cancellation policy?
Session cancellations must be made 7 days before your scheduled session. Within 7 days of your session there is a $175 cancellation fee. Sessions often book out months ahead and last minute cancellations take away a date off our calendar that could have been available to another client.
What is the average investment?
For your session I only want you to purchase the images you love. I love seeing images brought to life in our high quality prints and wall art so when you purchase you get your product and a matching digital. My session fee is the base which is $596 for studio time and the creative process with a $500 credit towards products and most clients spend between $500-$5,000. All pricing is gone over before your session so there are no surprises and you can start envisioning your artwork in your home. A la carte desk prints start at $250 and collections at $1,200.
What about digitals?
Many clients ask about digital collection options. The great news is with all images purchased you receive a digital copy for archiving and personal use. I want you to have the best of both worlds. But I also know what happens to digitals, they disappear on your hard drive. I want you to have premium quality prints you can display and showcase in your home. We do not offer digital only collections as they are paired with our premium products for the same prices as per digital rate.
