Krystal Shuga Photography is a mobile Newborn Service. This means we come to you. We come to a place that you feel comfort and give you a sense of relaxation while we photograph your newborn. Our sessions are focused on simplicity and baby led so we are guided what brings the most comfort to your baby. Most sessions last around 2 hours and we always make sure to plan a safe set and give time for cuddles with mama when needed.

why have a newborn photoshoot?

Ready to book?

Your images are safe with us. With all sessions we will archive your images for up to 5 years. If you choose to order more in the future we will be able to upload another gallery for you to look through. Pricing will reflect current pricing and not guaranteed to be the pricing that you previously purchased at.

Do you keep images after the session?

Every family session is hand editing ensuring the lighting and colors are perfected. We ask clients give us 2 weeks to share a finished gallery with them. With most galleries, they are done before this timeline but this can be season dependant as well. We provide our clients with 20-25 finished images in their gallery to look through and order prints and products from.

How long does it take to get the images back?

Yes! Not only do we love this, but encourage families to be part of their newborns session. With in home sessions, this will be a lifestyle focused image meaning your home will be the backdrop. But if you want a more traditional photo, we are happy to discuss a portable backdrop to bring for images with your family.

Can the rest of my family be in the photos?

For your session we will bring outfits, sets and looks to help complete your Newborns session. But if you have items that are more sentimental to you, please let us know to add them into the session. Since sessions are done in the comfort of your home, we don't need to worry as much about items to bring but how to prepare. We ask that your little one is fed before the session and try to plan around their nap time. Have diapers ready, a brush is a nice item to have on hand as well if we need to fix any hair.

How do I need to prepare for our session.

This can be highly dependant on the photographers availability that you are booking. But rule of thumb would be once you are into your second trimester, start finding your maternity and newborn photographer to plan a booked date or date area. Some photographers book months if not a year out so make sure to research and find out availability ahead of time to avoid heartbreak if your favorite photographer is booked. Right now Krystal Shuga Photography books 2-3 months in advance but that can change depending on booking request.
